Drake buchen, Book now Drake Aubrey “Drake” Graham (born October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actor, rapper and singer signed to Universal Records. So far he has released three mixtapes, 2006’s Room for Improvement, 2007’s Comeback Season, and 2009’s critically acclaimed So Far Gone, which is considered one of the best mixtapes of 2009. He is in the beginning stages of recording his major label debut, tentatively titled Thank Me Later, which is projected to be released late 2009. The first single from the album, Best I Ever Had, debuted at #92 and has since reached #2 on the Billboard Top 100. Should it reach the #1 position, Drake would be only the second artist to have a #1 single without having a recording contract at the time of its release. The music video for the song is directed by fellow rapper Kanye West. In June 2009, it was revealed that an unauthorized album entitled The Girls Love Drake, that featured songs from his mixtapes and credited to be an official Drake release, was up for sale on iTunes. A lawsuit is planned against the Canadian label who uploaded the album and claimed they represented Drake. Drake has previously dated singer Keshia Chanté, and is rumoured to be seeing R&B sensation Rihanna though neither have confirmed or denied the relationship. Drake has been writing songs since he was ten years old. Since then he’s collaborated with The Clipse, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake, has 30 registered fan clubs, more than 80,000 topics on message boards, and a collective attendance of over 20000 fans for mall tours. He has done interviews and specials for MTV, The New York Times, TeenNick, Teen People, Elle Girl, Pop Star Magazine, and 17. In 2006, Drake has launched and promoted his first mixtape. It provides insight into the mind of a changing man. LATIN STARS Gerade einmal zwei Jahre sind verstrichen, seit Michel Teló seine Solokarriere startete. Und in diesem kurzen Zeitraum schaffte er es, zur Ikone einer neuen Generation aufzusteigen. Als Teló vorletztes Jahr mit “Fugidinha” einen Überraschungserfolg landete, dachten nicht wenige, dass er ein One-Hit-Wonder bleiben würde. Wie sehr sie sich getäuscht hatten, zeigte er ihnen ein Jahr später mit dem Mega-Hit “Ai, se eu te pego” (Zu deutsch: “Ach, wenn ich dich erwische”), der in Brasilien und im Ausland die meistverkaufte Digitalveröffentlichung war. Der Video-Clip des Songs wurde bei YouTube sage und schreibe 117 Millionen mal angeschaut! Für zusätzliche Promotion sorgten Fußballkünstler wie der Brasilianer Neymar und der für Real Madrid spielende Portugiese Cristiano Ronaldo, die ihre Tore mit einem choreographierten Tänzchen zu Michel Telós Mega-Hit feierten. Und auch hierzulande ist der Siegeszug des frühzeitigen Sommerhits 2012 nicht mehr zu bremsen, konnte “Ai se eu te pego” doch mittlerweile schon mit Platin veredelt werden. Ein sensationeller Lauf, der seinesgleichen sucht. Jetzt stellt uns der Sänger sein neuestes Werk “Na Balada” vor. Und treffender hätte der 31-Jährige, den man in Brasilien zum “König der Baladas” krönte, das neue Album kaum betiteln können. Zum Verständnis: Als Baladas bezeichnet man heute in Brasilien die hippsten Musik- und Tanzclubs. Aufgezeichnet wurde das Album in den angesagtesten Clubs von fünf brasilianischen Städten, darunter das Wood’s in São Paulo, wo Michel vor rund drei Jahren schon seine ersten Soloauftritte absolviert hatte. Mit seiner Lebensfreude steckt Michel Teló das Publikum mühelos an. Wie es sich für einen kreativen Künstler gehört, zögert der Sänger nicht, mit Klängen und Rhythmen zu spielen. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist der neue Song “Eu te amo e open bar”, der im Grunde eine Instrumentalnummer ist, aber in den Tanzclubs schnell zu einem Hit avancierte. Dabei sprengt Michel, der seine Wurzeln eigentlich in der ländlichen Sertanejo-Musik hat, elegant das stilistische Korsett. Kein Wunder also, dass seine Songs in Brasilien sogar von DJs gespielt werden, die ansonsten eher zu House, Techno oder HipHop neigen. In Brasilien pflegt man zu sagen: “das Akkordeon weint”. Michel hat es geschafft, das Instrument von diesem Stigma zu erlösen. In seinen Händen sprudelt es vor Lebensfreude über und harmoniert bestens mit modernen elektronischen Beats. Dem Stück “Humilde residência”, das von brasilianischen Radiosendern momentan in heavy rotation gespielt wird, verpasste Teló wiederum einen flotten Samba-Rock-Einschlag à la Jorge Benjor. Die Produktion lag zwar offiziell in den Händen von Dudu Borges, doch das letzte Wort hatte in künstlerischer Hinsicht Michel Teló. Vollkommen intuitiv, so wie es sich für einen wahren Künstler gehört, probiert er die Lieder in verschiedenen Stimmungen aus und entschied sich dann treffsicher für diejenige, die am besten zu der Melodie passte. Dabei achtet er darauf, dass man ihn nicht in eine einzige stilistische Schublade stecken kann. Seine Kollaborationspartner suchte er sich mit demselben Geschick aus: “Vamo mexer” interpretiert er hier mit dem Sertaneja-Duo Bruninho & Davi, mit dem er auch schon einen Clip für eine DVD gemacht hatte. Doch sein Talent beschränkt sich nicht allein darauf, Songs für die Dancefloors der Clubs zu liefern. Auf “Na Balada” offenbart er in einigen Nummern seine romantische Seite. Stücke wie “Coincidência”, “Se eu não for”, “Ponto certo” und “Vida, bela vida” trägt er in sehr intimer Art nur mit Klavierbegleitung vor. Am anderen Ende der Skala findet man dagegen stark groovende Songs wie “Desce do muro” und “É Mara”.

LATINO STARS Geboren wurde Gusttavo Lima in Minas Gerais, aufgewachsen ist er in Goiás. Mit neun Jahren hatte er seinen ersten Soloauftritt im Schulchor. Zwölf Jahre später kam er zu seinem ersten Plattenvertrag und veröffentlichte auch gleich sein Debütalbum Inventor Dos Amores. Das Album und der Titelsong waren 2010 Achtungserfolge in Brasilien und mit den Songs Cor De Ouro und Balada festigte er seinen Erfolg. Es folgte im Jahr darauf die Live-DVD Gusttavo Lima E Você, die mit Platin für 50 000 verkaufte Exemplare ausgezeichnet wurde. Nachdem sich Ende 2011 der Erfolg von Michel Telós Lied Ai Se Eu Te Pego in Europa abzeichnete, beschloss man, auch Gusttavo Lima im Ausland zu vermarkten. Anfang 2012 absolvierte der Brasilianer mehrere Auftritte in den Vereinigten Staaten. In Europa erschien im Frühjahr der Song Balada. Wie bei Telós Hit, wurde auch zu Limas Lied eine Tanzchoreografie entworfen und der international bekannte Fußballspieler Neymar, der Teló den Weg nach Europa geebnet hatte, trat zusammen mit Lima auf[2]. In den Niederlanden und in Belgien konnte sich Balada zuerst in den Charts platzieren. Ende April 2012 erreichte das Lied Platz 1 in den belgischen und im Mai Platz 1 in den niederländischen Charts[3]. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit hatte Lima mit 60 Segundos seinen ersten Nummer-eins-Hit in den brasilianischen Radiocharts (Hot 100 Brasil)[4].

Sänger Das Mischen der Party-Rap-Sound seiner Heimatstadt Atlanta mit mehr eine Indie-Haltung kam Roscoe Dash auf die Szene im Jahr 2009 mit Club-Track \"All the Way Turnt Up!\" Dash hieß ursprünglich ATL, einen Moniker er benutzt, wenn er freundlich mit wurde die lokale Hip-Hop-Crew Travis Porter. Die Gruppe fragte, ob sie Dash\'s könnten auch \"All the Way Turnt Up!\" Ich bin auf ihrer Differenter 2 Mixtape, aber wenn der Schnitt war gutgeschrieben \"Travis Porter mit YT und ATL,\" die Beziehung sauer. Er wurde der Solo-Künstler wie Roscoe Dash bekannt, wieder den Schnitt mit Soulja Boy Tell Em aufgezeichnet und unterzeichnete mit dem Major Label Interscope. Da die Strecke brannte die Clubs im Sommer 2010 kündigte Dash war er bei seinem Debüt Album. Ready Set Go! kam im November desselben Jahres. Sein Song \"My Own Step\" mit T-Pain & Fabo, wurde auf dem Original Soundtrack des Films \"Step Up 3D\" vorgestellt.

Hip Hop Der Fokus der Musikindustrie war ja die letzten Jahre auf Atlanta und den Crunk-Hype fixiert. Doch in den letzten Jahren trat immer mehr Texas und die Houstoner Rap-Szene im Vordergrund. Neben Chamillionaire, Mike Jones (Who?) und Slim Thug gab es da noch einen weissen Rapper namens Paul Wall, der als erstes nicht durch seine Rap-Fähigkeiten, sondern durch seine Grillz-Werkstatt bekannt wurde. Als er dann mit Nelly auch mal ans Mic trat und der Song Grillz, und eben besagte Grillz, der Renner 2006 wurden, bekam auch Paul Wall den Respekt als Rapper der ihm zusteht. Sein neues Album wurde kürzlich veröffentlicht und beinhaltet unter anderem die Clubhit-Single \\\" Im Throwed\\\" mit SoSoDefs Jermaine Dupri. Von Kritikern hochgelobt, beinhaltet das Album noch weit mehr. Auch die Street-Single mit Houstons Lokalheld Lil\\\'Keke ist club tauglich. Da Paul Wall als DJ in das Musik-Business gekommen ist, weiß er genau, was die Massen wollen. Eine super Performance und eine bouncende Crowd sind garantiert!
